Response to the client brief

Explanations of demographics:

•What information do you have about your audience?
Audience is aimed at 16-24 years old which in the uk would be 15 rated however in the US would    PG-13.
•What might you include in your Thriller to ensure it appeals to them?
Blood in certain scenes; swearing to show that they do not care about being polite because they are terrified; humour to make the audience feel amused
•What advantages are there to making your Thriller for this audience?
 The editing system along with the cameras provided, we are able to edit the scenes lighting such as filming in the day time to then having to edit it to be dark and gloomy as if its late at night. the fake blood will have the effect as if it was real blood and making the audience feel disturbed. 
•What challenges do you foresee in making your Thriller for this audience?

The ability to get the audience to understand without necessarily saying whats going on , to allow the audience to connect the dots themselves is what there may be a struggle with. on the other hand, editing needs to be accurate and realistic. If you can see that the scenes do not flow, you can tell as an audience that its not realistic at all which gives the urge to not continue watching as its not appealing at all. 

Conventions:

•What are the Thriller conventions you will have to include in your work?

 The enigma will be who was involved in the black magic activity and will the protagonists successfully banish and cleanse of the black magic. The suspense is built with creepy visuals and only one protagonist see visions that trip them all out. 

•How might you include each convention?

Visions, key scenes, the enigma thats built within all the scenes that lead up towards the investigation from the protagonists.

This institution is well known to make famous iconic films so our thriller will be well made with the help of this institution.

With our target audience being 16-24 as said in the client brief the regulatory issues we will consider will be :ASA OFCOM BBFC in the uk.

•What institutional information must your text include?

The institutional information our texts must include will be age rating. as there is, specific age range for the film we must take sure that customers are of that age. If they happen to be bellow, they must be accompanied by an adult.

•What medium are you working in?

The media we are working with Is the film industry.

•What type of text are you producing within that medium?

We are producing a two minute opening sequence to our thriller film.
